Grodan Grow Cubes are small 1/2” cubes of stonewool. There are several advantages to using this loose medium: better aeration due to how the cubes stack on top of each other, maximum drainage from each cube so that you can hardly ever overwater your plant, easily mixes with other loose media, lightweight and much cleaner than peat-based media, but with better growth rate.

The properties of Grow Cubes make it like a 50/50 mix of absorbent to repellent stonewool.
